I’m not sure if it’s the same for you as it is for me but when I’ve got a good pair of comfy shoes, I wear them until sole falls off. It’s hard to let a good pair (or a pair that “was” good) go because of all the memories of trips and adventures, and the fear of having to break in a new pair.
